Since 2012, CIMC Airport Facilities started to seek further business growth by implementing a large scale overseas acquisition plan in home and abroad. Consecutive acquisitions have been successfully completed with Xinfa Airport Equipment Ltd., a well-known manufacturer of airport apron buses based in China, Airmarrel, a French-based manufacturer of cargo loaders and transporters. Albert Ziegler GmbH, A German- based manufacturer of firefighting and rescue vehicles. 2014 CIMC Airport Facilities sealed the deal of Reversed Takeover of Pteris Global, thus becoming a public listed company at the Singapore Stock Exchange. In July 2015 further obtained its seat being the first shareholder of CFE  (China Fire Safety Enterprise Group Ltd) listed at the mainboard of Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
