四川省成都市是 “一带一路”倡议的交汇点。南丝绸之路，从成都经昆明延伸到缅甸、印度；长江经济带，从上海，经重庆延伸至成都。成都作为“一带一路”的必经之路，其轨道交通行业起着承上启下的重要作用。

Chengdu City, Sichuan Province is the meeting point of the “Belt and Road” initiative. The South Silk Road extends from Chengdu to Kunming to Myanmar and India; the Yangtze River Economic Belt extends from Shanghai to Chengdu via Chongqing. As the only way to “Belt and Road”, Chengdu's rail transit industry plays an important role.

2018“一带一路”轨道交通国际高峰论坛将于成都举办。据悉，论坛旨在进一步深化“一带一路”国际交流合作，服务“一带一路”建设。届时，轨道交通相关国家部委、企业负责人、“一带一路”沿线国家政要及院士、专家学者200余人，将通过多场主题报告、圆桌讨论等方式，交流分享“一带一路”轨道交通建设、设计、施工、运维等方面的经验成果。

The 2018 “Belt and Road” rail transit international summit forum will be held in Chengdu.  It is reported that the forum is one of the “Belt and Road" series of activities of the 17th Western China International Fair. It aims to further deepen the “Belt and Road" international exchanges and cooperation and serve the "Belt and Road" construction. At that time, more than 200 national political leaders and academicians, experts and scholars along the “Belt and Road” will be exchanged and to share the “Belt and Road” rail transit experience in construction, operation, maintenance and design through various theme reports and roundtable discussions.

新建铁路和既有线改造提供了新的装备市场需求，而且在役装备的更新换代也为装备制造业发展提供了机会。在《四川省轨道交通产业发展规划(2016-2025 年)》中，明确将德阳市定位为协作区之一，着重发展轨道交通关键零部件、钢轨等产品，旨在建设国内一流轨道交通装备协作生产示范基地。轨道交通所用的关键零部件以及钢轨产品正是钣金加工的主要对象！

在“工业4.0”和“中国制造2025”的规划指引下，“智能制造”将成为展会重点追求和探讨的方向。《成都市产业发展白皮书（2017）》中针对装备制造业的发展明确指出：“以智能制造为主攻方向，重点发展智能成套装备和生产线。”而在钣金行业，目前“钣金机器人”,自动化以及“柔性化生产线”也在智能制造领域探索并已经被一些行业领先企业提前应用。
