汽车钣金是汽车修理的加工工艺,一般用于汽车发生碰撞后对车身的修复。汽车车身钣金的维修则是这一工序里最重要的环节,其中包括金属零件的更换,车体的修复拉伸测量等,并由原始的车身修复已经发展到了车身的二次改造。在汽车钣金维修过程中需要使用的机器包括钣金修复机和打磨切割机等。

“汽车轻量化”其中就包含采用轻量化新型材料来降低零部件重量以及利用新材料成型制造工艺来减轻部件重量。对于汽车钣金行业而言,通常使用的材料从减重程度由大到小而言,依次为高强钢,铝合金,镁合金以及碳纤维。但是从成本角度考虑恰好是相反的,最贴近“汽车轻量化”标准的碳纤维成本最高。轻量化技术颠覆了传统汽车的制造工艺,带来整个产业的变革,使行业的发展仍面临一系列新问题,如轻量化评价及测试标准尚未完善、产业间缺乏融合、新型材料成本较高、固有开发模式尚未突破等。
